Advocating Acceptance with a Self-Directed Pride Campaign

During Pride Month, I felt compelled to share a deeply personal story in response to the rising conversation about conversion therapy in Singapore. Through this project, I aimed to create space for difficult but necessary conversations, while providing support resources for those who need them most.

“Being queer is not a choice. The bravest thing you can be is yourself.”

KEY MESSAGE

As a conversion therapy survivor, I wanted to share my journey of self-discovery, and resilience in embracing my identity as a proud queer individual. In my content, I aimed to share a message of hope—encouraging others to seek help, connect with someone they trust, and know that they are loved and strong. The content also highlighted crucial LGBTQ+ helplines for support.
